Therapeutic supervision is ordered to allow for a supervisor to intervene in behaviors, by parent or child, that are not aligned with the intention of supervised visits. Therapeutic supervisors are qualified differently than non-therapeutic supervisors in that they have a background in social work, mental health, domestic violence or substance abuse issues.

MSV provides exchange monitors for custodial transfers. The exchange monitor can enforce court orders or a predetermined procedure along with documenting the exchange.
About Miami Supervised Visitation
Our Mission
Miami Supervised Visitation was founded based on the need for impartial supervisors that are focused on the wellbeing of the child(ren). Our founders discovered a scarcity of monitors that understand the complexities of supervised visitation. Miami Supervised Visitation minimizes/eliminates: miscommunication between the parties, fear that monitors that are aligned with one parent and inconsistent/unreliable supervisor notes. MSV aims to remove these issues so that the focus can shift back to what's important - happy, safe children. Successful parenting time requires a visitation supervisor that both parents believe is focused on the wellbeing of the children, not litigation.
